Usio is Haine's best friend and always by her side. She's a really beautiful, and also mysterious girl- especially since she claims to hate man. All the male students call her "Ajisai-no-kimi", which clearly shows respect.
The only person she cares for is Haine - that's why she does everything to get into the Student Council when Haine enters it.
Usio is incredibly protective of Haine, and holds her very dearly. At the same time she is very careful not to get close to anyone else, nor to show any feelings. Later in the series though, she gets attracted by Senri, and forms new bonds.

Arina has a special talent when it comes to creating characters - all of her heroines as well as sidekicks, seem real, and it's easy to realte to them. While the story line might not capture you that fast, you can be sure all the characters make up for it.
